It also performs very well on kick drums, spot micing on hats, and on vocals.

The Crimson Audio Transformers Yellow Shure SM57 modification is a true hot rod mod for the SM57/58. It gives a deeper low end, smooth balanced mids, and an open airy and clear top end. Furthermore it provides a much hotter output, giving a forwardness and real energy to the tracks.
